Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs)

ADESA’s paramount goal is to provide Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments that give you peace of mind that your project is getting done properly and in a timely manner.

ADESA completes Phase I ESAs quickly and accurately by applying our depth of experience, resources, and regulatory knowledge to protect you.

*      ADESA personnel have conducted over one hundred Phase I EAs in Washington, Oregon, California, and Colorado, and exceed requirements of “Environmental Professional” as defined in ASTM Standard 1527-05.

*      ADESA prides ourselves on maintaining excellent communication with our clients and can provide preliminary verbal assessments of properties prior to report delivery.

*      At ADESA, Phase I ESAs are conducted to identify potential environmental liabilities known as Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and that satisfy All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) requirements insuring innocent purchaser defense to CERCLA.

Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (Phase II ESA)

Phase I ESAs sometimes identify current or past practices that may have compromised the environment of a subject property.  In these instances additional site characterization or Phase II ESAs are conducted.  ADESA Phase II investigations:

*      Provide a comprehensive understanding of the project site.

*      Reduce liability by fully characterizing environmental impacts to a subject property.

* Typically include subsurface sampling, Underground Storage Tank (UST) assessments and records reviews.

Whether conducting a “routine”  Phase I assessment or a full environmental cleanup project, ADESA will work to keep your interests safe from environmental liability.
